Anyone thought about this much? What tunes do you want playing as the curtains close and the freight parcel descends?

I was thinking Cremation - Disco inferno, and burial - going underground. 'I will survive' seems a little humorous at this point too.

I'd like maybe a clause or two just in case I go off in a bizzarre manner.

crushed by one of Dibnah's steam engines - speed demon

Aircrash - I believe I can fly

i wonder how norwegian black metal like Dimmu Borgir would go down...

Avatarlittle_a
Does that kind of thing go on a lot where you come from?
AvatarJoni
i'm afraid so.

f**k knows why. Could be the dark winters playing tricks with our brains.

I'm a nerd, i can do this all day.

Anyone of the below will do it to me, not that i would care that much by then, but still.

Top 5' songs for your funeral
1- Highway to hell by acdc
2- You cant always get what you want by the rolling stones
3- free bird by lynyrd skynyrd
4- Long black veil by Johnny Cash
5- One step beyond by Madness

extra's

Tombstone blues by Bob Dylan
Come on up to the house by Tom Waits

Stairway to heaven i wouldnt like but i reckon it'd be a good one.

Dont French people make songs about dying and being dead, or is it all just taxi rides?

bodies by drowning pool.
sure that will go down well.

was actually thinking, rather morbid moment about what tunes id have, dont really know tbh

Elgar - Nimrod (from "Enigma Variations")
A very dignified piece of music. Funerals are no place for Celine Dion in my opinion.

I'm being buried, so in a humorous vein maybe Down Down by the Quo or Living In A Box... Who performed that? Can never remember. But please bury me with my mobile just in case...

In a serious vein, a bagpipe pibroch would be nice.

as im being carried in by 20 men

I have thought about it;

ACDC
Iron Maiden
Thin Lizzy
Moterhead
Slayer
Metallica
Sepultura
Raging Speed horn
Me first and the Gimmie Gimmies
10cc
The Who
Beatles

Basically it's gona be a big party with my cd collection! There won't be a burial or cremation as what isn't used in medical scinece or organ donation can just be put in the bin. I would like my skin flayed and tattoo's mounted and make it 1st come 1st served for my mates to take a bit of Iain art.

DECIDED!

this is the theme song for my funeral:

Live Life Like You are Going to Die by William Shatner.

Not only funny as f**k, but also him being vegan it goes well with the theme.
