Samuelsson and Boyer were joint last with 9.

Everyone did between 9 and 12.

Seriously? 105 kg and only about 10 reps. That's _almost_ like me, and I'm a total loser. Like WTF?

105kg x 10 clean and press in a minute on a long wooden log is good going after truck pull and no doubt in heat. Keep in mind when a weight is light like this and its a cardio test, it's much easier for 90 or 105kg guy who won't get as much lactic acid or overheat. Doesn't mean they are anywhere near as strong as these guys.

And a start of a new one.
Lets see what direction the sport goes.

The same...just with more fails, less reps.

There's a limit to what can be done within a time limit.

they had a max log in the heats - just watching now

riku kiri - a 300+ Raw bencher struggled with 140 and missed 150 log.
derek boyer - 150kg. missed 155kg
raimonds bergmanis - text book jerk 160kg

farmers walk now - 120kg. a youthful philipa forrester looking rather nice Grin

Moali wasn't very good.

be interesting how gerrit badenhorst would get on now. statically strong a f**k back then and only around 22st.
easy 165kg to win flintstone press with a cheat reverse curl clean into minimal legs push press like a speed rep.

Different eras different expectations.

More about the personalities that keeps it fresh for me. This years wsm final line up bought some magic to the event.

Having said that...I do miss the Capes/ Caz / mighty JPS era...

Always find it strange how weak Riku was overhead considering his phenomenal benching.

How high is 19"-20"?[/quote

More than the world limbo record, but less than the world high jump record, or so I'm led to believe.

A bendy woman for artistic ref.

I was watching her do this trick at a truck contest the other day. Something strangely erotic about flexi women.
