Give him a bit of time and it would seem every British record going is going to be his.
Actually maybe not bench, Sunil seems to have the measure of that!

I'd guess he'll be up at 84kg by the time he's out of the juniors. There's a couple of rather good lifters ahead of him at 83/94kg who could make things tough, as well as Alistair and Sunil very close. It will be interesting to see how they all progress over the next few years.

Great total by Stephen Manuel - 825kg at 93kg. Tom Martin vs Stephen could be an interesting competition at the British if they are both at 93kg.

Which included squat pb and deadlift gold! Great lifting Stephen. PS - he cocked up his first bench because he got the press command before he touched and it mind f**ked him. And he won gold with his second dead, way ahead...

Well done to Stephen manuel!,4th place ! Very impressive deadlift!!

Michael Jones is in a very good position at the moment. 2.5kg ahead of the german going into the deadlift for overall bronze

Going to be a close one!

Have you different lifts on the scoreboard there to goodlift?

German has since changed his opener. Carl from Norway also upped his to 330. Looks like he will be close to 1100 today

He's going for it now, Steve

Carl Yngvar Christensen totaled 1080kg with a 422.5kg squat, 295kg bench and 362.5kg deadlift. No video up yet, hopefully one will be on YouTube sooner or later. Dunno how many IPF records that broke but it has to be a fair few, it's a beastly as f**k total for a junior.

Total record only - still a bit of the other standards

Cheers Steve.

Looks like Carl had a little more in him on the bench. Squat and Deadlift looked close to being max.

Will be interesting to see how Manuel does at the british, 850 won't be far away.
