Member 1519, 1476 posts SQ 320, BP 260, DL 320900.0 kgs @ 117kgs Eq | I f**king hate the DVLA, My cars been clamped for not having tax and I've got to pay a £260 release fee, even though its a non-runner that's been sat in a parking space outside my house since the MOT ran out in Jan whilst I work on it and try to save the money for it to have the MOT failures repaired. Its been declared SORN since the 1st of April which was when the tax ran out, and I can't get it taxed as it has no MOT, I can't get it MOT'd because it needs work which I cant afford to have done yet. I don't have a drive way or garage to park it in and can't move it anyway as it doesn't run, its been parked outside my house, in a cul de sac parking area which I didn't realise was still public highways, tried explaining that I was in a bind and asked for advice on what I could do and they basically told me tough s**t I should have parked it off road. Clamping company were no better either Bunch of f**king c**ts

I break minor laws all the time but if I get caught then I got to accept it's my fault.

Then I had to send it off for speeding points, so found it and sent it to them. They sent it back to me, never mentioned it was out of date??

Until last week I'd been driving around without an MOT for f**king months but if I had got caught then I couldn't have moaned could I ????
