Do people still do BTN?

I was reckoning it would assist in me getting my "napper thru" when strict pressing.
As am slowly building strength back post tri tear its something I need to work on, performed light-ish and strict.

Thoughts?

I love strict btn press, if your shoulders are healthy its absolutely fine. I've maxed out on them with no issues.

Very true, I once pulled a trap doing this which made for a deeply unpleasant two weeks.

Never done them since

Once you get past the stage of banging the back of your noggin with the bar I think it is a fine exercise. Is it an unwise choice for some? Almost certainly, but if it is a matter of flexibility then I would suggest not getting that inflexible in the first place.

It's all part of the rehab process, I'll be happy if I can straighten my arm properly again.

Yeah, in light of your injury strict and light is the way to go - wide grip (hands out to the end of the bar) might be a help too.

^^^^^^Exactly this, have also been just holding the bar/light weights in the OH Lock-Out position with varying grip width.
