I call those MC Hammertime. Good, fun, stuff especially gentlemen of the 50 plus. I shall do these in tommarrow 's training session. Is it not all those who wander are lost???

I quite agree.

Tolkien Billy ?

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king

I wholly approve

A meeting has been had, tea has been drunk and things discussed.

Pete is going to Carlisle in July

Woot!

What tea did you have?

Not sure, presumably just bog-standard, British, working-class tea. Very nice it was to

Monday, 30th May, bank holiday, start 15:45

Squat, very raw
3 x 1 minute sits
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
belt on
100 x 5
140 x 5
140 x 5

All very smooth and fluent and an excellent warm up for this

deadlift
60 x 3
100 x 3
140 x 3
180 x 3
210 x 3
235 x 3
200 x 3

Normally I leave my squat boots on and the knee sleeves as well, but tonight I decided to have a change around and took the sleeves off and changed into deadlift slippers, I beleive slippers and sans sleeves to be the preferred option. The top set was a delight, not easy by any stretch but by no means hard, all done in the manner of the library and the last was held for a good while. The hands were relatively untroubled by it to. Very happy with this tonight.

Good mornings
50 x 5
90 x 5
110 x 3
130 x 3
150 x 3
Weightwise this was a pb and it felt f**kin' heavy

Leg raises
1 x 10
1 x 10
1 x 10
1 x 10
1 x 10
An extra couple of sets tonigt as, surprisingly these felt rather easy.

Very warm tonight and the tshirt was a rather damp thing by the time I had finished and all in all this was a very enjoyable day

My entry form for Carlisle is now in and the cash is winging it's way through the ether. I could end up doing four comps this year which would be a record. Still, can't see it doing any harm. just a bit of a shock to my system

It's been a week since I emailled the authorities here to either remove or change my tag line and it still remains - mocking me, a daily reminder that I am nearly dead. It was hilarious when I first saw it in that card from Andy, but now, the humour has long gone. Unhappy Unhappy Unhappy Unhappy Unhappy Unhappy

That's all I ever do is work, work and work. Someday I'll be done working. I hope I have energy then.

I rather liked the last one about carefully lowering eggs onto bread, but I will leave it up to you, I have confidence in your taste

I think I counted 220 reps. Good stuff pete. I was doing log press and stuff in my back yard. Near 90°F here. Your reppage is steering me down this path. Feels awesome no shirt shoes or socks repping in the heat. Wisdom makes us stronger? Age makes me weaker?
