Four for me. Abandoned the tactical approach and went for sheer guesswork just for something different.

Very quick for me, never even picked the pen up, and that's rare

The momentum continues. From this point everything will be a personal best and so the pressure is off and the beard stroking can be of the more relaxed variation.

Very productive now-standard first two.

A fast 4.

A disappointing five

The first three usual factfinders found enough facts for this to be a routine day. The fourth attempt appeared very quickly and carried high confidence, but being wrong caused some stroking of the beard and it was a disappointingly long while for me to think of another option. Onward and upward though

And again we see negative wording attached to a 5.
AvatarWigan
A fairly quick 3, thought it was going to be a two after the first guess but alas no

A passable four. Standard openers, mildly speculative third and only one option remained as far as I could ascertain.

I am also fairly convinced that my opener will never be a word of the day as it’s slightly obscure but does the job for me. Yet, I won’t change it just in case…

A quick and fortunate 2

A pretty tactical four. Too many options after the second to take a punt on the third so this should have delivered a four, five or six and it landed as a four.

3 today. A fortunate choice for the 2nd word helped to avoid a 4 or 5.

What could have been a glorious two, wasn't. A three instead.

A very lucky first attempt as you see, and a perfectly sensible second attempt.

So I was lucky, but could have been luckier, on the plus side, I didn't make anyway mistakes which is never a bad thing :-)

Threes are my favourite.
