I did too.
Roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage and green beans with lashings of thin gravy. Summer fruits roulade to follow. The roast beef in particular was a delight, but the entire thing has to come under the heading of "wonderful"

Not the best of days on the work front due to slowness and spite in my computer systems. Lut us see what tomorrow brings as they do seem to change from day to day
However there may be glimmers of hope on the horizon

It's Wednesday already. I thought it was Tuesday for most of today, but it isn't, it's Wednesday, Tesco again tomorrow, it really doesn't seem like a week d=since last time I was there. The weeks really are flying by. I was under the impression that lockdown and doing bugger all would make the time just sidle along.
Well I was very wrong about that

Tesco's is back to being a two way shop, the little arrows that designated direction of traffic flow in each aisle have gone. For reasons I don't begin to understand this has cheered me considerably

Schlepped off to Adders yesterday for a quick discussion of what re-opening actually entailed. Handsome Jeff has done a splendid job of making it all compliant with current guidelines. On the way home got my car cleaned for the first time in months.
Normality is slowly creeping back and now I hear that Boris wants us all back in work. Don't know what work will say to that but I really hope the canteen are back by the time I get there.
Cant't wait to print things again.

Possibly, it was just a headline that I saw. I didn't delve into the detail. Thinking about it, it is far more likely that you are correct.
Shame that as I am seriously missing my chair at work, it tilts and has castors, the chair in my kitchen does or has neither. After 75 days at 7 hours a day I am developing a few aches, hopefully a few sessions at the gym will iron those out

If I'd been working from a kitchen chair these last however many weeks, I would be utterly ruined by now.

I filled out the form to certify that my home was fit to be worked from and clearly said that it wasn't, that was in March and I haven't heard a thing about it since. Don't overly mind much but why make me fill out a form and then ignore what I put ?

Just been for a walk around the block and stopped for a chat with some of the neighbours, very pleasant it was too.

Because I know someone who has acquired one of these digital, point and press, thermometers, I have had my temperature taken for the first time in decades
I am sure I must have had it taken before, I have vague recollections of glass sticks under the tongue as a child, but cannot remember it being done for many a year.
This was quick and painless and for the record 36.0 of your finest Celcius degrees. I will not make a habit of this (I hope) but I just thought I would mention it.
