Sugden Christmas Meet...

Time to start seeing if we would have any interest for another meet at Adlington on the last Saturday before Christmas (Saturday 22nd December).

Would be an ideal date to build upto some nice lifts before Christmas hits and training hits the back burner for most for a while. Just over 9 weeks away.

Any members who can't make it could of course video their lifts from home and post them up as we did the other day. All we need is at least 5 or 6 faces at Adders again and we can have a cracking session.

If anybody is intending to do the North West Equipped (i.e. Hayden) this would give two weeks after so you could at least go for a PB on an assistance exercise or something if wanted.

Christmas is mad for me work wise mate. Few days off have to be spent with the family.

We will probably hold one in late Feb / early March (we would have to leave plenty of time for April Unequipped Meet as many will be building to this). But this is an ideal time to have one before Christmas without leaving it another 4 or 5 months, which is a long time. - Lots of people will start build ups again after Christmas so january early feb isn't best time.

Adlington is local for a lot of us so having a meet/big training session there every 2 or 3 months is a good idea based on success of last weekends.

Obviously whatever date we pick won't suit somebody... but if a few can make it that's enough.

No chance of lifting but will come if someone can either pick me up or you have it veeeeeery late afternoon

I would definitely be up for it ,and if any southerners want to come and either live on the way or can get to my house I can offer a lift to up to 6 people!

not sure if i will be around, but if i will, maybe it should be the day to nail that 20x150 on squats

Not too sure as there's a Christmas meet at Haydock's in Blackburn (strongman). Will probably still end up doing it anyway, so what the hell!
