no no, i was vegan back then already. I dont have any problems using someones leather belt, i am not into symbolics. But i wouldnt buy one for myself. I'll get that non-animal IPF spec belt when its done.

Would you buy one if you knew when you bought it that the cow died of natural causes?

will you make gloves out of your dogs when they die?

You can make gloves out of pillows? Doesnt the stuffing come out afterwards?

I've got lots of very good pillows thanks, some of which are made from cotton, some from varuous animals' feathers. Using a dog for that would be stupid.

But to use cows leather to make a quality powerlifting belt which a)you haven't got, and b) you need, makes much more sense to me.

Joni, I have a great belt you can have (like robs, but blue) yes , its cattle , but if you dont have it i will run over an innocent dog, and I may take a drive to bolton to do it !!!!

to me using bits of cow to produce a belt is really silly and crazy, equally crazy as eating a dog so i rather stick to what i have now, borrow a legal belt if i need one for the PL comps, and in the long run get one of those non-animal powerlifting belts when they are there (want to support that effort anyway).

I understand you supporting, and waiting, for the mon-leather powerlifting belt. But I don't see how it can be silly/crazy to use/buy a leather one when all the best powerlifting belts are made out of leather at the monent (if it were that stupid you wouldn't borrow one).

I'm guessing buying one actually makes you directly responsible for an animal being killed by increasing demand?!?!?!?
