it was better than past records but, for me, I would still like it held longer at the top. and before anyone cries about it thats comment on the reffing rather than z. it does look like he could have held it this time.

I thought it was going to be going forward personally and the log looked bigger to the other world records I've saw.

Not to worry he is still the strongest log lifter in history

It's hard to see how having a super tight right hip wouldn't cause you some problems at one point or another.

Tuesday 2nd May 2015

Weightlifting

Back Squat

70x1
100x1
120x1
140x1
150x1
155x1 beast

Crossfit

Mobility: Upper Back

wod

2 strict pull ups
2 elbow to knees
2 toes to bar

12 minute AMRAP

I did 14 rounds and 1 rep which equalled 85 reps in total.

Then we had to total 1 minute of "L" sit

It took me 1.44. My hands were flat on the boxes and my "L" was a bit low compared to others.

Then we had 30 minutes to work up to a 1 RM Snatch

I did one of the best snatches of my life with 95kg today.

This workout was done before about 12 or so weeks ago. My results were 72, 2.28 and 90kg. Today I did 85, 1.44 and 95kg.

It could be something that is contributed by wear and tear

You do a lot of walking everyday as well as heavy lifting

So there is that posdibility

Evening: squat 120x3x3. Not too bad.

You squat more than most men that squat squat on a good squat day

Not too bad at all

The stress is the fun. Theres nothing like hitting big numbers in a big competition or the feeling of getting all your lifts in and hitting a large number.

I said excessively stressful...

Or "overstress" as its called.

Having said that it's good to hear such enthusiasm from somebody in your situation

I have this preacher bench that's raised. I take a chain and a tricep bullrope and curl them . The effect of the weights dangling changes the tension. Kind of cool stuff. Awesome training.

That does sound cool and reminded me of a 100 rep tripep workout I did on Friday that Dexter Jackson made.
