» Are you banned from anywhere? (Go to post) | 28-06-2012 @ 16:26
Got banned from a club in Blackpool when I was there for a friends birthday, 2 clubs in Middlesbrough and I was banned for a year from Teesside University's student union. Been close to getting banned from a club in Stockton for being with a lass in the disabled loo. I got banned from a pizza shop in Newcastle as well.

Can't wait to watch this, round the corner from my house. If anyone is looking for B and B's or places to park close to the event ect (the green area and most of station road where the even is, is usually closed off), I can put some numbers up for local pubs that have rooms, hotels ect if anyone needs them?

Been talking training with a friend of mine tonight and we were on about how big of an increase could be made in a short period of time just by not caring what you looked like and gaining a large amount of weight. Just cramming food, not caring if it's all healthy, not using any fancy products or other such things. This brought us onto the old thing about squats and milk, the 20rep squat program or the gomad diet or whatever else people have called it. So I decided I am going to see just how high I can get my bench and deadlift by increasing my bodyweight in 10 weeks, I will start by drinking 2ltrs of full fat (blue top, not that red topped white water crap) on top of my usual 4 meals and 2-4 snacks a day and increase it as and when possible. I will make note of any increase in milk/food ect I make, all while using no supplements or anything else. I will also note, how my body feels, weight gained each week, ect. I am doing this for no other reason than I am curious. I will start in the morning!

fctilidie said:Some strong sessions in here. Thanks. I don't feel too strong at the moment. I am ready to start chasing some bigger numbers and a higher bodyweight. I have some chains on the way (what they use to hold tanks down on the RAF planes) so that should be another fun toy!

Spent all of yesterday throwing up when got in from work. With no sleep and opening up at work decided to deadlift. 80kgx1 120kgx1 160kgx1 190kgx1 220kgx1 240kgxfail, started moving but I just didn't have the grunt to keep it going. I think on a decent bar (we have those thick, pointless bars)and with some food in my system, it will fall without too much difficulty. I need to get into a proper training plan and stop arsing about! I am going to attempt to eat something, a accomplishment that I haven't been able to do since about 9am yesterday!

Didn't fancy doing DC today, I like certain aspects, but on the whole all I am doing is trying to avoid pain and not working on my glaring weaknesses (the fact I am weak). My shoulder is going to hurt what ever I do! Close Grip Bench 60kgx5 70kgx3 80kgx3 90kgx1 100kgx1 110kgx3-matches my PB, stopped because of shoulder pain, felt good for 5 -Put an old band around my elbows like a sling shot- 100kgx5-no pain! 120kgx2-felt great -band off and feet up- 80kgx2setsx5reps-this hurt, weight wasn't an issue Neautral Grip Pull Ups (Tried regular pull ups and they hurt my shoulder) bwx5 10kgx5 15kgx5 20kgx5 Rope Extensions 2setsx10reps I was tempted to throw in some face pulls and some light curls but couldn't be bothered after being in there since 6:15am to open up.

Decision made, Started DC yesterday. I plan to run this for 8-12 weeks, let a few niggles heal up and put alittle bit of mass on before hunting some big goals. DB Bench Press 20kgx10 30kgx8 40kgx21 total reps *Pec Strecth with 25kg db's* Military Press 40kgx5 55kgx17 total reps I would have liked to go heavier but shoulder that I tweeked the other day was having none of it. *Shoulder Stretch* Close Grip Bench 60kgx8 80kgx22 total reps Shoulder was agony by now! *Tricep Stretch* Wide Grip D Bar Pull Down 80kgx6 85kgx6 100kgx7 125kg(stack)+5kg plate x8 Stack +15kg plate x8reps Shoulder had taken as much as it could by then so called it. Deadlifts worked up to 190kgx1 Squats worked up to 190kgx3-PR Axle Rack Pulls a few sets nothing special I just keep finding myself arsing around in the gym. No motivation and not enjoying it. Spoke to a few people and they think I need something different to spark some motivation, to be honest I think they are right. Right now I am thinking of going one of two ways * Bill Starr's 5x5 and building some basic strength * DC training and build some muscle mass To be honest, I have no idea which I want to do.

Shoulder is agony, couldn't bench 60kg without stupid amounts of pain, even with the bar, my shoulder hurt and wasn't stable at all. I left the gym after before bumping into one of the lads I work with, so ended up joining him in his arms session....Can honestly say, I felt like I achieved nothing. Going to have a week or two off pressing and see from there. Just keep hitting squats and deadlifts hard and what ever back work I can get away with.

I wasn't working today and had to drop some stuff off at my ex's house, which put me in a terrible mood. DB Incline 30kgx10 40kgx7-PB 30kgx8 One Arm Axle Row (Wedging one end under a db so it wouldn't move) 20kgx6 30kgx6 40kgx6 50kgx6-baseline PB DB Rear Delt Fly 22.5kgx2setsx10reps-PB EZ Bar Curls 4setsx10reps Rope Extensions 4setsx10reps This should have been me done and dusted, how ever.... T Bar Rows 100kgx6setsx8reps 110kgx10reps BB Rows 100kgx6 120kgx6 140kgx6 160kgx3 Then Deadlift 200kgx1-easiest lift of my life! Close Grip Bench 60kgx6setsx20reps Aload of other crap as well as taking my mate through his session. Right collar bone near shoulder got tweaked on the 120kg bench, hopefully it will ease off later.

I didn't do my mini session/restoration session today as I was meant to be training at half 6 in the morning with another member of staff from the gym I work at. I just got a message saying they can't do it in the morning, which annoys me because I missed my mini session now.

Cutting through a thick metal pipe to make holes for handles has killed hands! Will be worth it when I have my own log to get plenty of practise in! |
