It seems to be that the only people that say we shouldnt have more "national" level comps are the people that don't actually compete in the or compete at ALL! So I would say leave the decision making upto the competitiors on whether they feel fit on not...

He only did one because he got an injury an unfortunate circumstance and he didnt even get it from a 105 comp from what i heard. Everyone talks about more comps need to be on bla bla bla then when someone puts on on everyone b**ches about there being too many comps. The way I see it if you feel you cant do it then dont

I would definatly be up for a champion of champions if I got an invite, if you cant handle doing 3 comps a year then you really need to look at your fitness levels, basically stop being fat do some cardio and youll be fine

Get some regular physio your probably lifting 3 rep maxes everyday like everyone else does. This beats the body up you get tight in various areas of your body, getting physio regularly will fix this, they can also point out potential injuries before they occur. I.e. Flat feet will cause your knee to turn in and your hip to turn out, this wi eventually result in an injury.

Week 2

Felt a little sore after team strongman training on sunday battle through

Bunch of epic warmup sets
240kg x 2 felt ok probably should of warmed up a little more, still think I need to lenghten my hamstrings
190kg x 3
190kg x 3
190kg x 3
190kg x 3
190kg x 3
190kg x 3 Didnt want to be anywhere near a bar at this point
190kg x 3 Was tired to say the least
190kg x 3 Glad when this was over

This routine is hard next week is going to be tough

Good Mornings
80kg x 8
90kg x 8
100kg x 8 felt much better on these this week

Lat pulldowns front
95 x 8
100 x 8
105 x 8 Felt the weight but all doable

Low Rows
100 x 8
100 x 8
105 x 8 grip struggled on this but finished off ok

Weighted leg raises

I would agree when it turns into the situation of basically how many reps can you do in 75seconds that is not strongman

In terms of getting more people involved I feel that it could defiantly be advertised better on here, the number of 105 comps that I have missed because it has been advertised as an open is annoying. It could be separated out into categories on the competition page but that's upto forum guys

If guy a with a big one rep max gets beaten by guy b with a lighter 1 rep max then so be it, guy b was clearly better in that event. The same can be said when you do a max deadlift so the mobile guys will probably get beaten. If you want to see lots of 1 rep maxing be a Powerlifter.
