That's good news then. The link I posted is now dead as well. Would be interested to hear why they thought that he was out.

just an update if nobody knows, felix is in and their only doin 4 events austrian oak, dumbell, deadlift and stone which i thinks a little strange. Think theres alot of s**t gone on behind the scenes this year

And felix? Why him? He will be rubbish at 2 of those 4 events

Strongman needs a revamp, those events look uninspiring and I always rated the Arnold as the true measuring stick

Has the Arnold's had its time? I think so. I thought the log being done properly this year was a great idea and bring stones back but no yoke? No frame?

Also good luck to Felix! Granted log and db he won't get a rep on either but Deadlift and stones he will get big points

Exactly, they made some events their own and got a following but dont seem aware of that. Is it a lack of general public interest or financing? I remember reading the prize money had dropped?

Im a bit gutted aswell started gettin into watching strongman about three years ago and always looked forward to the arnold...not this year. Somebodys gona have to get the bullet for organising this s**t. Still enough of being a morbid bas***d it'll probly be really good. Who's gona win it then, Lalas or poundstone for me

I really dunno. The crowd watching it is always big. I know some will disagree but I think they've just gone too far from the original format and made it maybe too heavy. Saying that for me if they put the f**king heavy yoke in and put the frame back in it'd be a great comp. I think having top guys injured is not helping

Bit f**kin gash just having 4 events!

4 events is bad enough, but for 2 of them to be OH events in a 4 event comp is crazy.

Also, why is there no moving event?

Compared to the WSM final we all enjoyed so much it sounds like a complete let down
