Red Bull is banned in netball Member 799, 1484 posts	Speedy recovery to both Mike and Kelv. Good day all round but tireing and hard. Mark and Myself got late call ups for this to replace some lads, so thank you to Bob for that. Ankles still not healed from the UK's but I hoped if I could survive the truck pull and not bomb on the log, I could get top 6. Truck went ok, was a tough pull at start and end. Log was horrific, fecking awkward thing! Couldn't dip and drive cos of my ankles hurting so only got 1, but happy to walk away rather than limp! Farmers and tyre medley was good, couldn't go mad on farmers run but opened up on tyre. Deadlift was very, very heavy. Reckon 360kg or more in handles. Good event for me, so joint 1st with Mike on 5 reps. Stones; normally good for me. Started slow, getting my hand glued to the support ring, easy 4 and almost got the 200kg, but just slipped off lip and no tacky left after 2nd try to give it another pop. Finished in 3rd. Happy days, esp injured. Massive congrats to my good friend Cherrie, who was dominant, even with a chest infection. Si Johnston is just getting better and better. Adam Bishop was a class act and deserves the 5th spot after Paul. Overall, a great and talented line up put on a cracking show in front of a packed house. Good show and should look good on DVD and hopefully TV.

A World class farmer Member 576, 3429 posts SQ 350, BP 200, DL 400 950.0 kgs @ 136kgs UnEq	Awesome comp yesterday. my aim at the start of the year was to make this comp, to finish 5th and qualify for the arnolds is amazing. Truck pull was a bit too slow getting it going. Log press was awkward as fook only got 1 rep. Medley was good finished 4th in that. Deadlift was the heaviest pull i have ever done, had to pull out an epic hitch to get the all important 1 rep. Stones were awesome, first 4 easy and then lapped and nearly loaded the 200, a big milestone for me. Shame the yoke was dropped from the comp, was looking forward to that one. Enjoyed the whole day massively. Thanks to bob and his team. I hope the guys who picked up injuries heal up soon.
