Currently running the ortmayer routine for overhead which is going good but very hard,my question is lads on week 3 it says to add 5kg to each lift bearing in mind this is supposed to be for deadlift so would adding 2.5kg make more sense as its overhead

what percentage of your deadlift is your overhead?

Personally, I think in some instances even 2.5kg increase per session is too much is your reps are supposed to stay the same.

Fractional plates can come in very handy sometimes.
