Would just like to know how much protein, the rest of you consume on a daily basis.I am currently taking in around 250 grams a day is this enough my bw is 83kg.

I have about 110g from animal/dairy sources (maybe another 20g from bread/beans/peas etc) and maintain ~88-90kg bodyweight just fine with that. Happy

About 100g at the moment. Usually do better on more but not bothered at the moment (I also gain weight which I cant be arsed with)

f**k knows - today i'v had some cheeses on toast (?g protein), cottage cheese (30g) to pastrami butties (?g), gonna have soem chicken boob (30g protein), 2shakes with 3 scoops (100g), and summat for tea - so prob have at least 250g and I weigh about 230ish lb!

Around 400g of protein at the moment. 120g of that is in 2 shakes the rest is real food.
I used to go for a gram per pound of bodyweight but since upping it drastically I've made some real improvements. Expensive though

Have you tried lowering it? I'd be amazed if you reduced it to 250g/day but increased your carb intake by 150g to replace the lost calories if it had a detrimental effect on your body weight.

In fact I'm almost certain you'd carry on gaining as I did exactly this many years ago when I used to have about 350g/day and reduced to around 200g.

I just think 400g is wayyyyyyyy overboard. Happy
