I was quite surprised, too. From what I could tell of the 245kg video, I didn't keep my chest high enough, and the bar seemed a little higher too. If I decide to max-out again next week, I'll be sure to nail it, and get a video up

3x1x230 - BOOOOOM! Ridiculous. Looking back, I noticed that I used a narrower stance, from the 4 rep at 210. I believe that this amendment to my form, is the reason for the increase. That, and shaving my head, obviously.

Cheers debating weather to do it now as I have a niggle in my hip ...foam roll I'm gonna start doing that, was gonna go for small PBS

220kg - though its not near my max, I was very pleased with my posture today, as it was 100% perfect, regardless of Tuesday's high rep squats.

Training
High bar, narrow stance squats
Just up to a very easy 140, as it's deadlift day.
Deads.
220 - hand started tearing again
260 - used straps, and came to the conclusion that I'd rather tear my hand than use them, as they are terrible.
280 - back to chalk. Easy from the bottom, easier than before at the top. Very pleased. Once my grip has improved, I'll start whacking up the weights again.
Grip work and other faff.
Very pleased with this week's performance. Some very tough work, and it's only going to get tougher from here. I need to prove myself in the Brits, and start marking my mark in world-class powerlifting. It's a very big ask, but I have the drive and determination to succeed, aswell as having an excellent team around me, who I know will help get me through the forthcoming weeks, and push my performance to great heights.
