They were not lightening fast, but there was a great deal of acceleration through the lift. | ||

I was able to get some gymt ime on Saturday, but the bar could only take 240kg, which I pulled happily without chalk or a belt Can't wait to get back into powerlifting! | ||

It left me with a 8:42 mile and a half time, which is cool, but weakness is not something I'm a fan of. For the last 8 months, I've been trying to regain my strength and size as much as possible. Coupled with CV 3/4 times a week and injuries, I've found it quite hard, but things are finally moving my way. My current stats BW - 84kg Squat - 230kg Deadlift - 290kg Bench - 145kg My lifts may not be what they were, but its only time until they are. My deadlift has progressed more than anything else, probably because I f**king hate bench and I've had a lot of trouble with my patella ligament, which has made me ease off squats a touch. I'll be updating with my training as of tomorrow. Edit: I also intend to compete with the GBPF in stead of the BDFPA, as they have stronger competition. | ||

Rack pulls, 4/5 inches above floor height Loadsxbar 10x70 10x120 5x170 2x1x220 2x1x250 2x1x275 300 - all over it, not a problem. Pressed for time so I left it there. Less than ideal but could have been worse. This being a factor, I'm not going mental on the squats, sadly. Legs Squat bar - pain! 60kg - more pain! End ex! SLDL 6x220 - easy enough, but saving myself for Thursday - all out DL day. Squats to bench (parallel) Strangely, I didn't feel the same pain that I had earlier on. 180 - easy 200 - bit of a grind 210 - popped up 220 - borderline comfortable, but too much irritation to my P.T., so I left it there. Extensions 3x10 Calf raises 3x15 Massive stretch Fin. | ||

Incline DB 3x10x35(x2)- not going to heavy, as I don't want to cock up my shoulders again. Monday Squats 5x180 Deads 5x200 Tuesday Bench 3x5x100 Hour and a half of badminton - awesome game. Today Push-press 12(or something)x1x90kg - so comfortable, now. Loads of reps of lighter weights Facepulls 3x12 Lateral raises 3x12 - lactic acid is a b****, but loved it! MP 3x8xbar More yet... | ||
