I realise this thread has probably been done before, but I couldn't find it anywhere..

What are the best shoes for pressing, farmers, yoke, loading ?

Ought to mention I have high arches on my feet too, they tend to cave inwards on squats and farmers/yoke.

Thanks

i would just say flat shoes or weightlifting shoes for static events (just socks for deads if you prefer) and running trainers for moving events. Thats what i do anyway.

only just had enough cash to order a proper belt after a year of training so i just make do with what i have.

I also have huge arches in my feet! ( recently discovered)

So foot wear for me is quite important!

Overhead - Nike Romeos
Deadlift - socks
Farmers yoke - Adidas iron work 3

Got an appointment for my feet to be moulded for arches but don't know how much weight I can put on the arches might not be wearable for training?

Iron works certainly seem popular, anybody know where I can get them at a reasonable price??
