Is one reason that he didnt fully lock out in one go kinda thing and pushed the last bit in a 2nd movement?

Great vids, I love Steiner - so happy, clearly having the meet of his life.
I guess pressout - and I can't see anything else wrong so I guess it must be letting go to soon on the way down, though I'd've thought it was borderline on both. I know f**k all though.

thats what i have been thinking as well, imagine being the poor sod standing at 104kg and your coach comes to you "lad, you are going up a weight class, put on 30kg"

Anyhoo...
I reckon the lift should have been failed for the following two reasons:
Press out - as picked out by most of you
Feet not being on a level plane when the bar was lowered - in fact he shouldn't have been given the down signal, so technically you couldn't fail him as he followed instruction from the ref
Also, i suppose he could technically be failed for letting go of the bar before the bar passed waist height, but i havent seen that rule enforced for donkey's

from the final over head shot you can clearly see his feet are not in line
any one who says that fatties are slow should watch this they get under the bar very quickly
