Yes the GBPF have been running unequipped championships for a few years now, see the GBPF website for results and qualiying totals

dunno if im looking at rite thing im on unequipped qaulifying totals on that site and the totals seem realy low e.g for my age and bw its 520kg will the totals be alot higher to quilify for internationl compsi thaught it would be like 600+

I don't stand the reasoning for the above?

Why can you set a world record at a regional event but not a national one?

The new IPF rules will allow a maximum team size of 8 men and 7 women at Internationals (one more for each at Junior Internationals) with no more than 2 lifters per country in each weight class.

What a lifter requires to do in order to qualify will therefore in part depend upon the standard of the other lifters.

Regional in this context means Europeans, Asians etc...

my understanding is that its not 2 per weight class, but you can have a maximum of 2 per weight class if for example you had no 105's you could have 2 93's
