Nice to see you posting. I was getting worried there. Your body will take time to adapt to doing heavy manual work AND powerlifting, but it WILL adapt and you WILL make the qualifying total with loads to spare on the 15th. Then you've got till next July for the adaptation to happen. Worry not, my friend - nothing but positive thoughts.

cheers bud feeling a lot better with the bench now its starting to come back to were i was only without the shoulder pain,ticket for Bradford is paid for just need to get trainers n stuff training today......

looking strong mate you will piss qualification in Bradford mate ! how you finding the working and training ,I'm really busy at work at the mo and Im finding getting home at 7 feeling f**ked and then getting your head together to train hard very difficult ,warmed up to 90k front squats tonight did 1 rep and said f**k it I cant be arsed , will probably regret it in the morning!

thanks ED hard graft and training is hard mate i feel your pain but dig in and try and get the job done you will feel a lot better afterwards,90k front squat after a long day is good going,im looking forward to Bradford again thats a good sing ill quallify ok and that will make my day worth the extra graft on top of the jobWink

Well done Tom. Once you get Bradford out of the way and lose your virginity, so to speak, you'll never look back. You might also reflect, on losing it, "Is that all there is to it? It wasn't that hard!"

wise words again my friend yes ive put a lot of work into my bench over the last 9months would be foolish to miss Bradford and id never forgive myself tbh,so ill be there and i will QUALIFYGrin

good question mate ill do singles on 120k for 10 at the weekend paused,then 127.5 for 1 and 140 for 1 monday b4 comp.

did bench straight after work as im working all day tomorrow did six paused singles with 120, 1 with 125, 1 with 127.5,for the first time since i got back to work i can say they were comfortable,felt good enough to do more but left it there,the 127.5 i should of paused a bit more looking at vid but i know i would of got it if it had been there till xmas lolHappy
