I'd restrict the pauses to the singles, not the reps, and focus on exploding off the chest (not bouncing) on the reps. About time to get into that peaking programme we spoke about earlier. Five weeks to go! Check my log, btw. You worked harder than I did today, but I'm still a bit low at the moment and just doing what I have to do to keep my strength up. | ||

addicted to bench press, needs help Member 80, 1384 posts SQ 175, BP 160, DL 240575.0 kgs @ 113kgs UnEq | Had an easy day at work today and was well up for bench,was going to go 5x110 5x115 5x120 5x125,got nowhere near,were has my strength gone less than a month ago i was doing 7sets of 3 with 120,ive done 3sets of 5 with 120,and 3x3 with 125k and 5sets of 2 with 127.5,first comp coming up ill be lucky to get a 127.5 paused heres how it went. 15xbar 5x50k 3x70k 3x90k 5x110k 5x115k 4x120k dident feel like id get 5. 2x125k a real struggle 5x100k was going to do 10 heres the vid of 110 115 120k fooking pissed off | ||
