Nice one on the job lad. practise no axe kicks or kickbacks if the lad gets lippy drop a kerb on his foot, mike tyson wouldn't f**k with one of those thingsGrin

Form's looking really good, Tom. I'd restrict the pauses to the singles, not the reps, and focus on exploding off the chest (not bouncing) on the reps. About time to get into that peaking programme we spoke about earlier. Five weeks to go!

Check my log, btw. You worked harder than I did today, but I'm still a bit low at the moment and just doing what I have to do to keep my strength up.

i mate peaking program is in hand,today was a sort of a tester after failing the 115s. ive copyed your advise in case i go ofline and will follow it to the letter,after checking your log i think kickbacks would of been a better choiceGrin

Had an easy day at work today and was well up for bench,was going to go 5x110 5x115 5x120 5x125,got nowhere near,were has my strength gone less than a month ago i was doing 7sets of 3 with 120,ive done 3sets of 5 with 120,and 3x3 with 125k and 5sets of 2 with 127.5,first comp coming up ill be lucky to get a 127.5 pausedAngry heres how it went.

First session back has to be gentle. It was just your body being more sensible than its owner! The next one will be fine!
