anyone do it or train for it on here

was at my mates sopray painting unit last night, and loads of people turned up to train for tug of war in a field next to him. i went over but they seemed to be having a team chat so thought wouldn interupt, but they apprantly do alot of heavy lifting, drums filled with concrete etc. didn have the apperance id expect, but sure they are strong. just wondered if anyone does it or what the training is as it looked interesting.

I have seen guys training for tug of war at heaton park before. It looks really brutal with the big bells and barrels they used for weights.
