This is the best my benching has ever been whilst eligible for IPF comps. I did hit 160 for a casual single before, but that was whilst inly eligible for untested comps. I want to see if deadlifting on concrete yields better results than pulling on 20mm rubber flooring, because the scales show about 15% less on the latter and I'm sure there's a fair bit of energy loss. I'm still injured all over though. | ||

Decided to go with the fast descent and rip it straight up instead of setting up and taking the slack out of the bar. If you've seen Chris Jenkins deadlift, you'll know the style. But with added hook grip. 60kg x 2 100kg x 2 130kg x 2 160kg x 2 180kg x 2 200kg x 1 215kg x 1 belted 215kg x 1 belted Haven't pulled 215 since I left the UK, so pleased with this. Only issue is grip was going at the top. UH BB Rows 100kg x 8 110kg x 8 110kg x 8 Lat pulldowns 100kg x 10 100kg x 5 or 6, then bicep wasn't happy. | ||
