Do you have a freezer?
I've found with sliced bread atleast that it defrosts super quick, I even have a defrost setting on my toaster that both defrosts and toasts it at the same time in minutes.
So hypothetically If I were to have 2 slices of toast every day, I could get away with buying only one 20 slice loaf every 10 days with zero wastage.

Level up sir, level up!

Oh yeah the freezer!

Well I can very much picture that working but I definitely wouldnt want my freezer space taken up by poverty bread. Almost all my meals are the type of thing that is eaten out of a bowl with a fork.

Jack, I probably average 4 avocados a week. I buy "ready to eat" ones, 2 in a pack, and eat them on consecutive days or sometimes both in the same day. It is quite hit and miss though. They are sometimes starting to go off or are too hard. Had a hard one today actually.

I've never been in a position to buy a home due to generally being low achieving and useless. The avocado consumption is relatively recent and can't be blamed.

I did have some potatoes. There was sweetcorn in the pie at lunch. And there was probably some sort of vegetable somewhere in the evening pot noodle.

Not my best eating day, even by my low standards.

I am actually surprised by the low consumption of fruit/veg on Sugden.

I'm not, not at all.

Today I had:

McD's Breakfast wrap
McD's Sausage, Egg and Cheese bagel
2x Bacon sandwich
Sausage roll
10 Mozzarella sticks
10 Mini crispy duck rolls
3 Chicken satay skewers

with likely more to come...

However in a conscious effort to avoid heart disease and get down to 140 before I start my next comp peak I have utilised my reasonable salary, exploited my laziness and sought help from a meal prep company so I will be having a splendid array of vegetables over the next 8 weeks

Today I’ve had sultanas, peas, sweet corn, broccoli, red pepper, onion, cherry tomatoes and some spinach. Not a bad day!!

Not all in 1 of your 5 a day portion sizes but still....
