True, but he still had decent press/jerk. Really strong legs.

True. Awful bench.

Big E (Ettore Ewen) would have to be up there as well strength-wise, as well as being another "What if".

If I recall rightly he beat Blaine Sumner at the 2011 Raw USAPL Nationals, and Blaine does alright for him self in PL. Happy

Big E is awesome. One of my favourite guys in the WWE right now.

Mark Henry was a world record holder in raw powerlifting. He won Arnold classic and also competed in the olympics?
Is that good enough??

I know who he is thanks. But none of that answered the question i asked.

Did you ask, define overall strength? Does the three areas he excel at not do that?

By what standard then do you judge overall strength?

High powerlifting total and being good at strongman? How do you define strength??

Id say it answered it pretty well. Only took a quick google for me to see he is one strong mother f**ker! (Yes i had to google who he was)

Mark Henry holds the biggest super total ever as well doesn't he? Although I'd imagine Mishas gym numbers should've got somewhere near that.
ChrisMcCarthy
He did at one point, yep.

Massive deadlift.

But in an ego club like the wwe i imagine bench and arm wrestling are fairly legit feats of strength.

To avoid confusion im not actually suggest Henry wasnt stronger than Kane.
But theres clearly room to debate it, so heres one, in a WSM style comp (based around weights use in the pudz era), how many events would Henry have beaten Kane on?
ChrisMcCarthy
Most of 'em, I'd guess.

Also, and I'm a big confused, Henry had a 903lb deadlift and if memory serves during his Arnold win didn't he beat Andy Bolton at a deadlift event?

EDIT: Scratch that, he didn't. Happy

He got two reps with 885lbs to Bolton's three.
AdamT
I think Henry would of placed well at wsm. He is faster than he looks.
