OLD SCHOOL SUGDEN Member 212, 11439 posts SQ 325, BP 212.5, DL 370907.5 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | Historically we've produced vast amounts of amazing 82.5kg 90kg 100kg lifters !! Struggled immensely to find a good lifter at 56kg I've never seen anyone of any great standard in the lightest category

Yeah he done really well actually but his best snatch was 95kg ?!! And he used to place outside the top 12 in the World at the time . Just the competition with-in the commonwealth was wank at the time .. Not taking nothing away from him he beat who was in front of him Plus if you've noticed my list it runs 1986 - 2002 these are the years I was concentrating on ... Simply because these are the guys I grew up watching

Simply because these are the guys I grew up watching How about Geoff Laws - would he make the list as a little guy? Or had he just about finished by the time you started lifting? I saw McKenzie and Laws together at Crystal Palace. Probably the only time Laws ever looked really tall!
