Again I stray outside the confines of my journal to give you a little bit more squattage
Happy with this as I think I may very well have some sort of hernia at present, so the squats themselves lacked a little fluidity (raw mong power got me through though :cool
Enjoy

Very nice squatting. I have recently started using a style similar to yours so this is something to look up to

Interesting you say this. I'm considering trying the Macca stance/depth combo in my own squats.

It's worth trying different stances / bar placements out for sure, you should find one combo that works best for you.
It may not mirror how I squat though

Still love it that you have drilled your plates to make them the exact weights

When you lift at Mr Macca's - You lift on calibrated kit!

I am doing it because I have knee tendons made of glass and somehow this stance works for them. I also think that going atg in this kind of stance is near impossible

This stance also reduces the stress on my bad knee - If I squat narrower in a heel then I have to ice my knee for two days afterwards!
Regarding depth, it's all down to hip mobility really - I always end up squatting lower in competition as I have 7 days off heavy lifting leading up to a comp but keep up with my mobility work.
The result is I naturally open my hips up more and so squat a bit deeper without any sacrifice in form

What is your knee injury specifically?
My hips make nice clunking sounds during my mobility routine

Knee surgery for a torn meniscus which turned into a patella and medial femur work over because my surgeon through I'd need it doing in the next 10 years or so anyway (I had no symptoms from my femur or patella I might add)
Followed by me rushing my recovery means that my left knee is still a bit fooked and sounds like a ratchet every time I use it (the main reason I use knee sleeves is to dampen the noise a little )
