18/5/14 Squats Bar x lots 60x5 80x5 100x3 120x2 140x1 160x1 180x1 200x1 215xfail Suit and wraps on first time in ages 220x1 parallel 250xfail bar was sliding down my back so I dumped it. Raw pause squats 175x1 195xfail legs had nothing left Bet of a burial day left gym feeling nothing but pissed off all night but looking back today I know 210 is there on the squat for now so gonna back off the singles and do some work. No more messing about with equipped either to much f**king about with equipment and takes so much energy out of you . | |||

17/5/14 Paused bench Bar x lots 40x5 60x5 80x5 100x2 Paused singles 120 135 145 felt a bit ropey 140 150 155 fail was misloaded 5kg heavier on one side. Narrow bench 100x5 100x5 100x5 Dips Bw x 10 Bw x 10 Bw x 10 Strict oh press 50x5 60x3 80x2 Not a bad old session happy with bench and I am convinced 155 would have gone if it hadn't had been misloaded I've had it done now 3 times in 4 weeks think there maybe some underhanded tactics going on. | |||

16/5/14 Deadlifts 60x5 100x5 130x3 160x3 185x3 207.5x3 pb treble 230xfail stupid to go for this after 3 @ 207.5 Still leg deadlift 180x3 Wide pull ups / Trx rows Bw x 10 Bw x 10 Bw x 10 Cable curls / ab crunch 10 10 10 Feeling strong on deads after few week break just need to get back in a groove I'm over thinking my setup a little bit on the heavy stuff which is doing my head in. | |||

13/5/14 Deficit deadlifts 100x5 140x3 170x2 190x1 210x1 230xfail Rounded upper back stiff legs from below knee 140x3 180x2 210x1 220x1 230x1 Wide pullups Bw x 10 Bw x 10 Bw x 10 Not done deficits since before last comp so wanted to see where I was at 230 was a close fail so gonna work my way back up from 220. The rounded back rack pulls is the position of my sticking point so gonna work from here once a week adding weight each week. | |||

Had a week of just messing about this week which included doing 3 sessions of smolov Jr for bench before deciding my elbows needed a rest and also deadlifting 225kg quite easily to say I've had a few weeks off deads. Training update been busy last week!!! Last Sunday 4/5/14 Squats Bar x lots 60x5 80x5 100x3 120x2 145x1 165x1 185x3 185x3 185x3 185x3 185x3 185x3 185x3 185x3 185x3 185x3 Smolov complete without as much difficulty as expected got smashed after this session and took 2 days off the gym. | |||

Energy was a bit low today after being up since 445 again for work but happy with how these reps felt. | |||
