Because it was recommended in a thread I start on here, lol!
To be perfectly honest, I didn't even know if was multi ply (shows how little I know).
Maybe I will just need a different suit?

Hix may be right, perseverance may work.

But I have never seen a strongman pull in one of those, and even if you do get used to it, I cant see you being able to rep in it because of how tight it will be.

A single ply suit is surely the best option Ben, Instead of wasting 6 weeks trying to get this one to work, only to find its an insufferable piece of s**t lol

in 2012 i used a suit so tight i could barely get down to bar. Think i pulled 385 in it. My raw pull at the time was around 360. Took me about 5 weeks to get the hang of using that particular suit.

nowadays i like to be less restrictive with my new suit. No problems getting to bar its more for support now than kgs.

Its hard to say what guys have used what suits as most have them under their shirts.

On side note, top lifting mate.

Thanks for the input buddy. I think this suit has potential, I'm going to keep hold of it but probably also get a single ply for repping, as I can't imagine using this for 3+ reps!

I think you're right, this metal suit is good for a 1RM, but I'm going to get a bigger version of my Titan for reps.

I don't know whether the hips and/or legs are too tight, which is why you are struggling to get to the bar, but those straps definitely need to be tighter to get full benefit from it. I'd stick with and see how you feel after 6 weeks or so in it. When you get more used to it you can then crank the straps even tighter. Grin

Serious squatting Ben.

I dont no anything about mutiply kit. I think you should have just got a bigger single ply titan suit why change if its not broke.

On the other hand you may find that the metal suit is the best option for both reps and singles once it stretches out abit more and you get used to the velcro straps, but its gonna take time so I say stick with it.
