Deadlift 60kg x10 100kg x5 140kg x4 531................ 160kg x5 180kg x3 200kg x5 (rep PB!) 531 over.... 220kg x1 200kg x2 180kg x4 Bit of fun trying out new stance, feels good for rep work an d feel it more in the hamstrings so guess that's a good thing? Hard to tell as have been up and down ladders all week and hanging out of windows a lot so body's a bit beaten up Bent over rows Pendlay: 100kg x5 - still irritating forearm Yates: 100kg x5 110kg x5 120kg x5 120kg x5 100kg x8 (most of them PBs as only done once before :P) 18" rack pulls - main work superset with chins 140kg x5 180kg x5 200kg x3 - chins x6 200kg x3 - chins x5 200kg x3 - chins x4 Power shrugs superset with empty barbell curls 200kg x8 -> x20 curls 200kg x8 -> x20 curls 200kg x8 -> x20 curls Hammer grip pull downs 100kg x8 110kg x8 120kg x5 Will continue with narrower stance for a few weeks and see how it goes. | ||

I stopped before it could develop into something nasty and really glad I did. Monday will be my first real training session so it's cost me one comp and a weeks training. Nothing too heroic today, just putting the graft in. Low bar back squat 60kg x8 60kg x8 100kg x5 140kg x3 531............... 150kg x5 165kg x3 185kg x5 (rep PB) 531 over........... 190kg x2 190kg x2 (trying wraps - very tight, uncomfortable. possibly a little better at bottom) 180kg x3 (looser wraps - hmm OK, nothing amazing) 180kg x4 back in sleeves Front squats 100kg x5 120kg x5 120kg x5 120kg x5 Paused Back squats - very deep and long pause 140kg x5 140kg x5 140kg x5 SLDL 130kg x4 (abandoned as back pumped to hell and painful and takes ~20 minutes to get better so left) Lunges, barbell in high bar position 60kg Lx5, Rx5 80kg Lx5, Rx5 80kg Lx5, Rx5 Reasonably good session. Hamstrings and glutes feeling a bit fatigued so think when fresh the wraps will be more beneficial as the lockout was the hardest bit today so less benefit. Will see how they go. Weighted lunges felt good and will be kept in for a bit as feel they help my stability a bit. | ||
