Member 1706, 43 posts SQ 265, BP 145, DL 288698.0 kgs @ 114kgs UnEq | Post Edited: 16.09.2010 @ 22:06 PM by jdef It sounds like Z may have torn a quad. It happened doing the 11th rep of the squat. We'll know tomorrow if he can continue.Sczcepanski's injury is a lat tear. Again, we'll find out tomorrow if he can push through. Brian Shaw is looking like the favorite this year. I'm not sure how Misha's doing, he's not in the squat results. Tomorrow groups 2, 4, and 5 have the Africa Stone - as used in WSM 2000. Hopefully we can dig up some results to see how far they took it 10 years ago. All groups have an overhead event tomorrow. Groups 1 and 4 have the Axle, 2 and 5 have a metal block lift, and 3 has the circus dumbbell. I believe the DB will be 95kg/210lbs (same as last year), so we'll see if anyone can match Derek's performance last year of 9 reps. The metal blocks are reported to be from 120-140kg (265-309lbs). If Dave has any carry over from his sandbag training, this should be a really good event for him. Derek's quad injury shouldn't hinder him too much in this event. The Axle was 154kg/342lbs in the finals last year with Zydrunas winning it at 9 reps. I'm guessing they'll keep the weight the same, but I haven't heard either way. If Zydrunas stays in the competition it should be his again. Thanks to everyone that's been posting results all over the internet. https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0AvSNkChZOFN7dDVldnVHUGNtdDNPOVg3cVZZVk9YVlE&hl=en&gid=0

Member 926, 100 posts | Africa stone, richard skog won it with 67.4, heard poundstown was mid 40's and terry in the 30's, dumbell press next So if Skog was 1st, Poundstone 2nd and Terry 3rd and not knowing how the other 3 finished so not giving them points the points in that group as it stands are Terry 21 pts Poundstone 19 pts Skog and Robert Szczepanski 10 (Szczepanski i didnt give him points for African Stone) Alex Curletto 6 pts Hennie Jordan 2 pts Sorry this is a bit vague but basicly Terry and Poundstone are through barring a miracle-disaster
