Do hugs, not drugs. Member 136, 712 posts SQ 380, BP 242.5, DL 330 952.5 kgs @ 110kgs Eq	I went to help out at the WPC Worlds on the weekend in Bournemouth. A fun weekend. The highlight was seeing an 18 year old Egypian who weighed 199kgs trying to get into a single ply squat suit. Chris Jenkins won the 90s with something like 370/230/320. My mate Justin Hurley tore a thigh muscle in is first squat, unlucky bas*d. Gareth Davies bombed on the bench. In the 100s Andrei Belayev won with 420/290/350. He only weighed 96 and looked a about 16 years old. Pocket powerhouse though. He got best lifter. Preston boy Martin Brown did really well to come second after some poor judging on his squats weighing in with 400/245/325ish?? The 110kgs were won by another pal of mine, Craig Coombes. Craig didn't lift very well by his own standards but still managed 425/300/310 for the second World Championship title in his career having won the BPO version of the worlds a few years ago. Some huge benching going on but I'm never that bothered by the big multi ply benchers - Scott Mendleson was there, he's fking massive. He bombed on something like 475kgs opener. Another Yank in the 110kgs opened (and bombed) on 410kgs - crazy numbers. There were a few 400lbs bench presses passed. I couldn't stay till the end for the 125kgs and above results - some of the British boys were doing well though - Lloyd Strang, MarK Griffiths, Jim Nuttal were all in the mix. Ano Turtinanenn bombed out in the squats with 470kgs which was a shame.

Look at the speed he puts the 420kgs squat up at the start, and again amazing speed pulling 350 and 370kgs at the end.

Yes - but not with the BPC anymore, and not with 380 anymore either!! Over to you now for the big numbers mate. I have been informed that I am Masters all year next year and not just from after my birthday, so I will be able to lift in both Masters and Open cats from the off.

Massive stuff from Jenkins at 90 he failed an IPF drugs test when he won the world seniors (but he was still a junior!) and hes failed another one this yr. f**k the drugs doing a 425 squat @ titans cup last yr in IPF gear is fooking awesome.
