To be honest I so want to lift at the Europeans and the better half keeps going on saying for me to lift, but I have to be honest with myself. If I carry on I'm gona bugger my knee right up again as its just about on the right side of OK. The plan is to just drop back to doing sets of 5 x 5's and taking it steady(ish). Basically some proper training and not peaking for comps. Fingers crossed for the worlds where I hope to smash the 700, we'll see. One thing for sure I'll be in Bournemouth for the Europeans and if theres a chance help out that would be great

If you are unable to lift at the Europeans we will understand and of course respect your decision. Your offer of helping out at these Championships is well received and we will not work you so hard that you do not enjoy the action. As invites and entry forms arrive in the next few days l would be grateful if you could email me if you are not going to lift.This will enable Nicky to call up a reserve early, to give them the best possible chance of preparing as thoroughly as possible. percy Member 384, 353 posts SQ 250, BP 162.5, DL 287.5 700.0 kgs @ 88kgs Eq	Focus is now firmly on preparing for the European Powerlifting Championships at Bournemouth University on May 7/8th. The University staff and Wim Backelant(WDFPF President)have agreed changes and improvements particularly to the layout and I.T.with us.If we use two platforms we will increase the space we use and operate two seperate warm up areas. Manon Bradley has kindly agreed to manage and oversee the award of trophies.Peter Gaskin ,who has a wealth of Knowledge on I.T and media/results presentatation, will manage/advise on those proceedures/equipment. Invitations are either with you or on the way from Nicky Elding.Top three in each weightclass/age groups from either of the English/Welsh and Scottish(seperate teams) who have achieved the appropriarte qualifying total.They all should receive an invite. If you are unavailable please email myself or Nicky directly as soon as possible.Nicky will then call up the reserve who will then have as much time as possible to prepare. If you do not have an invite contact Nicky or myself as soon as possible and if it is appropriate we will send you an invite/entry form. I personally prefer the stiffest possible. Member 158, 3110 posts SQ 170, BP 107.5, DL 222.5 500.0 kgs @ 67.4kgs UnEq	I don't think I will be there lifting as not on form at the moment (and still recovering from a niggly back) at the moment, I will goto the glasgow comp in november. I'll hopefully be there to watch/help out

BRITISH COMPETITORS for the EQUIPPED competition on May 8th may enter directly after the BRITISH EQUIPPED IN GLASGOW later this month. Regards, Paul
