From Arthur Saxon's splendid fanny duster and Goerner the Mighty's unfortunate Hitler tash to the magnificence of Larry Kidney's WSM 1980 face ferret, strongman has always meant moustache. What happened? It's either a beard or nothing these days. Come on strongmen, think of your heritage and bring back the moustache! | ||

I want to find the one where Mr Wayne was accosted by a mysterious winged creature that was neither bat nor bird late one night. Possibly my favourite thread ever. PS. After the lack of support for this moustache idea, I've now got a beard. | ||

Believe it or not Mr. Pete, I'm heavier now than I was in that picture but I was much much leaner then! I wrestled for quite a few years, started off with a little Submission wrestling and moved on to learn greco roman and freestyle also. I was nothing special by todays standards but I had a hella lot of fun. Yeah I do a bit of the old swimming , running and biking now not to forget my favourite session of the week which is my squatting! Squatting's something I find incredibly difficult, that's why I like it so much though. This threads brought a tear to my eye. Because of my rapey looks I cannot adorn a moustache any longer :'( Get in there Sugden. Display your under nose adornments. | ||
