Another reason is I am not much of a fan of the rediculous hitches in strongman, the suits, the straps and other silly rules in the sport IMO. I started off powerlifting before strongman and am looking forward to giving it another go. | ||

That will be same as me bro,wrking 4 on 6 off,I can cycle training but its awkward plus they told us we will be moved onto other shifts from time to time so I cant plan too far ahead.... I agree with u to a point on that...some many comps with so many different rules....i f**king hate hitching and some people attitue towards it,thinking its cool and do it week in,week out in training..it just looks s**t...i think of it more as a tool to use in a comp lets say,for a few extra point's..... | ||

I was conservative in selecting my 90% of 1RM starting percentages for each lift as want to run it for a good few months and see where it gets me. I want the first wave of the cycle to be nice and comfortable. Deadlift warm ups 60 x 5 60 x 3 100 x 3 120 x 3 working sets 155 x 5 180 x 5 205 x 5 very comfortable Bench warm ups 40 x 10 60 x 8 working sets 85 x 5 95 x 5 110 x 6 done an extra rep here as it says is ok on the Wendler program if very comfortable weight. 2" board press (close grip) 60 x 3 100 x 2 120 x 2 130 x 2 140 x 2 Box squat 60 x 3 100 x 3 130 x 2 150 x 2 180 x 2 Not going to use Wendler for box squat, only fronties and back squats. | ||
