People in the media and the like dont quite understand that he beat an aggressive form of cancer and won a record number of TDF. Yes he used PEDs EPO and whatever else but that does not negate from the fact that he trained like a beast - like no one else - he dieted - he researched his competitors - in short he f**king lived and breathed that s**t. He was and probably still is one of the most dedicated sportsman in history. Did he cheat ? Yes but given his nature is it surprising - everyone should not be blinded to the fact that every one was taking some sort of PED - they all did something. So Lance , being Lance , took more - took better - employed better Dr . PEDS and EPO dont, in my eyes , level the playing feild - not with the TDF. Im my opinion if no one was taking anything and Lance was taking nothing - completely natural - He would have still won . I have no doubt in my mind. Because he would still be training harder , eating better and sleeping more than anyone else. He did what he needed to do to win. Even Tyler Hamilton admits in his book ( bloody good read ) that Lance played and trained harder than anyone. Was he a bully ? probably Did PEDs even the playing field ? No Should he admit it ? yes I really want to know what he will say, I thinking that he will twist and deny and deflect. But i dont care. Its not like he took something and WHOAH he is 15% better then anyone else. Didnt have to train , work , eat and generally dedicate himself 150% to his sport. | ||
