Probably down to a stressful week leading up to my exams yesterday. Will be back on it next session | ||

Bench felt good. Saturday 14th January: Squat: 45kg x 5 45kg x 5 65kg x 5 65kg x 5 85kg x 3 105kg x 3 125kg x 3 145kg x 2 165kg x 2 Knee wraps on 185kg x 1 195kg x 1 200kg x 1 205kg x 1 Bench Press: 40kg x 5 40kg x 5 60kg x 5 60kg x 3 80kg x 2 90kg x 1 100kg x 1 - paused 102.5kg x 1 - paused (PB Paused) Deadlift: 60kg x 3 - DOH 80kg x 3 - DOH 100kg x 3 - DOH 120kg x 3 - DOH 140kg x 2 160kg x 1 180kg x 1 190kg x 1 So I got to the gym feeling crap. Tired and with a dose of manflu brewing I wasn't expecting great things. But in the end I had a great session. All my lifts felt good and I even bagged a cheeky bench PB and went heavier on deadlift than I had planned. Awesome | ||

Thursday 19th January: Deadlift: 60kg x 3 - DOH 80kg x 3 - DOH 100kg x 3 - DOH 120kg x 3 - DOH 140kg x 1 160kg x 1 180kg x 1 200kg x 1 205kg x 1 Close Grip Bench Press: 40kg x 5 40kg x 5 60kg x 3 60kg x 3 70kg x 3 70kg x 3 70kg x 3 Happy with the deadlifts, 205kg was easy enough and that will be my opener. I think one of my problems with my deadlift last year was opening too heavy. Opening lighter this time with 205 hopefully being more like a final warm up done on the platform. Friday 20th January: Bench Press: 40kg x 5 40kg x 5 60kg x 5 65kg x 3 70kg x 2 80kg x 1 - paused Squats: 45kg x 5 45kg x 5 65kg x 5 65kg x 5 85kg x 3 100kg x 3 120kg x 3 140kg x 2 160kg x 1 Nice and easy session, winding it down to the comp now.
