Worlds 3rd strongest 105kg Member 440, 674 posts SQ 250, BP 200, DL 290740.0 kgs @ 106kgs UnEq | 12.03.11 Turku RAW bench press competition. (RAW final qualifier) Competition went well on my behalf! Was a little cautious about my opening lift because I had to give the weight before I even got the chance to warm myself up properly. My last and only preparation practise didn't go to fabolously so I opened up with a 185k'r. Then to the competition itself.. First lift came up like it was shot out of a cannon. 3-0 good lift. Second lift was 195kg. Lift started out nicely from the chest but on the midway thru it felt like s**t..but was able to get it up. 3-0 good lift. For the last lift I loaded my PR of 202,5 kg's but I didn't have the gas in me anymore so it failed 3-0. I belive my condition at the time is 200 which is good for me at this time of year. Promises good result for the upcoming RAW final! 15.03.11 Legs. Squat: 20 x 20kg, 2 x 8 x 60kg, 3 x 100kg, 3 x 140kg, 3 x 170kg, 1 x 200kg, 1 x 220kg Leg extension: 4 x 12 Leg curls: 3 x 12 Ab crunches: 2 x 12 f**king nice and pretty fast one!! Took a starting weight lift on the squat for next weeks saturdays gym powerlifting competition which is in the neighbour town. 220 came out fairly nice so that is where I'm going to start from.My goal for the competition is to get +700 k's which I don't consider to be impossible if all goes well. Thursday is the time to check out the deadlift opening weights.. | ||

Not flying..but decently considering that I squatted on tuesday.. Feeling pretty confident about nailing +700 total. Tommorow I'm having a massage and next week will be all resting and preparing for the competition. | ||

Squat: 210kg - ok, 225kg - ok PR, 235kg - fail Bench: 190kg - ok, 200kg - fail Deadlift: 265kg ok, 285kg - fail x 2 31.03.11 Stretching + some deadlift. Pretty satisfied about the squat. Bench didn't feel good at all..when I was lowering the bar to my chest my shoulder was hurting whitch was where I already knew that 200 wasn't going to come today. Disappointed with my deads. 265 came up alright. In first try for 285 the bar didn't come above the knees. The second try was a wee bit better..came over the knees and stayed there because I couldn't shoot my hip out. So overall was 680 for which I'm not anywhere near happy! Won the competition so there weren't that good lifters amongs us. On this week there has been so much program on building the frame for Pori's strongest man competition so there hasn't been time to go to gym until today. So I did a 10 rep set with 200 k's on the deadlift and good stretching on top. On saturday it's time to get back to event sessions!! | ||

It's been a while since I've had such a weight on a yoke..couple unsure steps in the beginning and the rest of the trip went smoothly..gained a decend speed also. Just a couple reps with the tyre..some real sets next time then.. The stones..they were glued to the floor.. | ||
