It's not saying you are gonna get arrested for disclosing being an animal rights activist after all, just saying that they will choose not to employ you. I'm pretty sure the police will be just as picky about how their candidates spend their free time, particularly through association with certain political groups. | ||

Lost his pen, then found his pen. #phew Member 4899, 2956 posts | To be fair big companies quite often have clauses in their contracts that are somewhat "problematic" on a legal basis - there are a lot of grey areas out there where it's legal argument and interpretation that matter rather than flat out right or wrong, and the odds are that a company are going to be able to hire a louder voice than you will. I do think that there are much less egregious examples of this nowadays, however - a couple of hundred years of case law has knocked out most of the kinks... | ||
