Does it harm to be training 1RM's every week on say Deadlift?
Or, can you train like that until you see no improvement then deload?
Basically trying to decide how to scedule reps/sets for my stength training.

Im a bit confused as to how much volume to have in each of my workouts, say comparing 5x5 using moderate weight, to something where you might have couple of sets of 5 couple of sets of 3 a few singles working upto to a 1RM.

Also belts, I need to get one and ive seen on strengthshop they do 10mm or 13mm, lever belt or double prong buckle - whats the differenc/best?

cheers.

i dont believe singles build strength, i believe they make you better at doing singles

personally i would go something like

week 1 - sets of 5
week 2 - sets of 3
week 3 - sets of 2
week 4 - singles
and repeat

it's mail order with a shop based in southsea (they also do bodyfitness magazine)
just been to the shop tonight for my mate to get a belt
I've had one from there (£18), that has lasted six years no problem. they do a good range.
