Massive congrats to Mick for the win and to Chris for the hard work that it must take to organise one of these things. Nice to see a few old faces and good to meet a few new lads too. Every last competitor was a really top bloke. They all provided 110% effort, encouraged rivals etc. It made the sport look really good. Feel sunburnt now. Suppose nobody could complain about the weather. Top day! | ||

 Champion of Under The Radar 105 Member 805, 5301 posts SQ 325, BP 202.5, DL 335862.5 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | thanks Chris for running a top comp, loaders, refs eveything was spot on Really enjoyed today, everything went well and better than expected on most events On axel deadlift I pulled 280kg for a (pb) Got 2 reps with the 125kg log (equal pb) did the 350kg Yoke in 24 seconds I think (pb) Did 140kg farmers in 21 seconds I think (pb) Also managed 6 reps with the 120kg stone over 55" (pb) Came 7th overall which I am really pleased with, although I did finish 1 place behind JC for the third time in a row, one day I will beat that guy  I think everyone did awesome today, congrats to Mick 'The Beast' Ashurst on the win and I also think James Wilmot did really well to come 3rd and is coming along very quickly I will leave it there as I'm now off to the pub to have a few pints | ||

Best moving stuff & stones I have seen from him in the 3 years training with him. 160 stone was like he was picking pebbles Produces like that at Englands and he will be very very difficult to beat | ||
