Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Thursday daytime training (after 2 days of illness) weighed in 91.5kg (due to eating feck all and just lying in bed tue/wed) Squat: warmed up to 100kg x5 x3, 120kg x3, 130kg x1 strict press from chest: 50kg x5 x3, 60kg x3, 70kg x1 push press: 60kgx5, 70kgx5, 75kgx3, 80kgxf xf xf had to jack it in as wasnt going well .. hopefully feel better by saturday for events.. great start to midlands prep | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Saturday training at gym1 .. on my lonesome with the mighty Ward in attendance and in bully mode Two hours of axle technique, breaking down the move and working speed, pulls, various styles and belt landing .. finishing on 60kgx3 x3 then couldnt move my arms properly farmers: 60kg x30m, 100kg x15m x6 great having a one on one with James for some advice on the axle and with a decent build up i may have a chance of getting the 105kg on the day.. the chance may be slim but as i really wasnt feeling good (and havnt for quite a while)i was happy to of managed what i did farmers felt heavy .. kind of pissed me off as i quite like farmers but going through it on my own felt tough | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Monday training power cleans: 5sets of 5 all at 50kg hang cleans: 5sets of 5 all at 50kg clean n press: 5sets of 5 all at 50kg deadlifts:slow warm up into 180x5, 220xf, 210x3, 220x1, 230kg x1, deficit deadlifts off a 20kg plate, 200kgxf, 180kgx6 x3 sldl: 180kg x3, x3, x3 x1 felt all over the place on deads, shoulders felt really uncomfortable and messed me about alot, never had this problem before but think i was still aching from saturday and had a really busy stressfull weekend/monday things can only get better | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Events at gym1 with Edd (dark horse)and chunk (eats tesco horse) weighed in at 90kg bang on .. however ive been ill on/off for 2 weeks havnt eaten properly, drunk enough or gotten any where near enough sleep messed about with light axle technique again went through the motions on deadlift pulling 220kg after failing 240kg .. even 200kg felt wayyy heavier and 220kg was hard warmed up on yoke and farmers trying a 245 yoke which felt awfull then hit yoke205kg 15m/ farmers 80kg 15m with one run off farmers being heavier All in all everything felt tougher than normal again, really need to kick this aids bulls**t before it kills me | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Had some time out due to getting some dirty glass in my eye at work, bringing on an extreme bought of conjunctivitis To cheer me up the wife gave me an early birthday present on monday before training ... new Strength shop neoprene elbow sleeves and new incredibly stiff wrist wraps So mondays session: Hang cleans: warmed up to 60kgx3 x3 hang clean n press: 60kgx3 x3 clean n press: 70kgx3, 80kgx1, 85kgx1, 90kgx1, 95kg cleaned no press lockout taken from rack: 80kg x3, 90kgx1, 95kg xf xf xf deadlifts: 100kgx10 140kgx6 180kgx5 220kgx1 230kgx1 240kgxf xf 235kgx1 rack pull (just below knee): 220kgx8 assistance work super chuffed with this as thought after a week of s**ttyness i would struggle but think the new kit really helped (mentally) get weights overhead that i havnt lifted for a long long time ..just hope i can keep up some momentum on improving | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Another week hampered by conjunctivius but managed to get a couple of sessions in this week as off work till thur Monday: weighed 93kg Hang cleans: warmed up to 60kgx3 x5 Clean n press (belt clean):60kg x3, 70kg x3, 80kgx1, 85kgx1, 90kgx1, 95kg clean no press 3 attempts .. getting the hang of these belt cleans now but only on an olympic bar not an axle Squats: 60kgx10, 80kgx10, 100kgx5 x5 pressing assistance: dbell ftoh, bench press machine, cable pressdowns Tuesday: weighed 93kg deadlift: 120kg x3, 170kg x3, 200kg x3 deadlift (off of 2x25kg plates stacked a side): 200kg x1, 220kg x1, 240kg x1, 250kg x1, 260kg xf dead rows, cable pulldowns and some curls for assistance work. Originally was going to go to 220kg in deads then try it at a different height but wasnt feeling too enthused training 2days on the trot and wanted to feel out my midlands goal of 250kg.Saying that 240kg felt a lot healthier than the 200kg off the floor. Be just my luck for deadlifts to f**k up going into midu90kg 250kg was ground out and 260kg got stuck just above the knees i now know the deadlift will be 200kg, 220kg, 240kg, 260kg then 10kg jumps ..so guttted 260kg finished the eye medication and going back to the specialist tomz ..so can hopefully get a full night sleep and the headaches can do one | ||
