Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Again only 2 sessions this week but should be going gym1 for events tomz Monday weighed 94kg Squats: 70kg x10 x10 clean n press: 70kgx5 x5 pressing assistance (no deads as my back is playing up due to work related issues) Thursday scales missing ???? squats: 80kgx10 x10 clean n press: 75kgx5 x3, 70kgx5 x2 core assistance struggled with the CnP so dropped the weight and back still not right so no deads again | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Sunday gym 1 events session weighed 94kg .. chuffed as thought i would be a good bit heavier post xmas Log: 70kg x3, x3, x3, x3, x3. 80kg x1. 85kg x1, x1*, xf, 70kg x5 yoke: did warm up and then 2nd run was so uncomfortable had to stop CGP: 60kg x10, 100kgx5 x5 *bounced off my head considering i had bad back issues which i think everyone heard on my first lift i was quite happy with the log as technique felt much better on 70+80kg yoke however felt like it crippled something in my neck/lower back and hip think a break until the 5th is in order not how i wanted to start the year but better off backing off than making it worse | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Back has been feeling better (rest/radox/deep heat) so thought i would test it out tonight weight: 95kg (expecting weight to go up over the next couple of weeks while changing my diet around and lifting heavier) Squats: 60kg x10 x2, 100kg x5 x5 deadlifts: warmed up to 170kg x5, 180kg x5 x5 back assistance .. loads of sets/reps to the point it felt like cardio back felt a lot better and squats felt a lot more comfortable going to carry on squatting twice weekly until Midlands events are announced and everything gets comp specific | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Had an awfull session on saturday with way below average performance, just doing log which started of ok then went to peices, bench press and dips... all i can say is f**k c**t, f**k c**t, f**k c**t while kicking my shoes off n throwing a baseball cap Today weighed in 94.5 (same as saturday) Xtrainer 15minutes high intensity squats : 60kg x10, x10, 80kg x10, 100kg x5 x5 strict press: 50kg x10, x10 70kg x3, x3, x3, x3, x3 * conditioniong circuit x3 50kg barbell clean n press x10 24kg kettlebell swings x10 50kg barbell rollouts x10 close hand push ups x10 plank to failure *done with a wider grip, my lockouts on overhead never quite happen so widenning my grip feeling piss weak .. probably due to a week of s**te/interrupted sleep and first week of dropping carbs in my diet | ||

Even if your weight isn't dropping as steadily as you like, you're going to be a LOT fitter for all this volume and conditioning you're doing. Keep it up and it will come off slowly. | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Wed night training session weighed 94 Xtrainer 25mins moderate intensity Deadlifts: 70kgx5, 120x5, 170kgx5, 200kgx5 x3, 220kgx2, 240kgx1, x1 Back/hamstring assistance circuit x3 box jump x15 push ups x15 crunch x15 Training has sucked as of late so hitting the 240 twice was a bonus and the 200kg was hitchless and felt a lot easier than before.. Conditioning work was very sluggish after but this is 2nd week of changing diet .. having dropped bread, reduced gluten intake, increased water and reduced starchy carbs .. im shattered | ||

Member 1031, 1149 posts SQ 140, BP 120, DL 240500.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Training at gym1 .. james 26, ward collective, mike n steve log .. 70kg x5, x5, x5, x3*, x5, 80kg x1 farmers .. 60kg x30m, x30m, x30m 100kg x15m, x15m 120kg x15 then some failed attempts at picking up 150kg after f**king up a 130kg * distracted weighed in at 93kg .. chuffed Diet is slowly having an effect, log felt so much better today even if it was a bit cardio(ish) as i cant remember hitting targets as easily as today. More so as i had only had about 4hours sleep an amino drink and a stimulant drink the whole day Everyone had a bit more enthusiasm today, which really helps. Plus my deep heat use today could easily be counted as substance abuse .. but if it works | ||

Deadlifts killed, first set of 220 for 5 had me flat on my back for ages in fact enough time for some t**t to thieve some of my plates the last set of 220kg felt like they were hitched from the floor and ruined any chance of hitting 240 which didnt leave the floor circuits were done to very early failure on each set .. due to total f**kdness | ||

Squats 70kg x5, x5, 120kg x5, x5, x5 Partial squats.. bar touching the safety bar each rep: 120kg, 140kg, 160kg 40kg db ftoh .. x3, x3, x3, x3, x3 Partial squatting took a while to set up as was trying to mimmick a 20" block, 1st safety bar height too low 2nd just a bit too high maybe 4" max but this screwed my back and knee felt shocking | ||
