Its a bodybuilder gym so after my main lift I always look around and see what stuff the big boys are doing. Definitely not a BB have you seen how hairy I am? Dont make me send you some pictures.

I defiantly got my 1ml half measure scoop of caffeine wrong. I am totally wired.
Strength feels like it is reaching a peak, its felt like this before and normally I just train normally through it and dont bag any pbs. Not this time though.
In my plan I wrote down 1 x200kg DL but I knew I was going to pull a 210kg. Boom it happened.

Bodybuilding routine? I think not.


Wednesday at BB gym

DL: 8x40kg, 5x60kg, 3x100, 3x140kg, 2x160kg, 1x180kg, 1x200kg, 1x210kg // 200kg was slow and got the legs shaking which is new, but I think its good. Theory is that I am using more legs than back now? Got fired up for the 210kg got it past my knees it felt heavy but carried on pulling, got it to my hips still felt heavy but too late to ditch it so pushed the hips through and locked it out. Once it was locked out it was grand. The bar is super s**t, bent with no knurling on it, so my grip strength is getting better. Elated about a 210kg Deadlift! (Easy 220kg with a nice Texas Power bar and Unit20 slap from Friday).My polish buddy was training behind me in his cut off jeans , gave me a thumbs up and then said I should pull it faster next time
Dips: 10, 5,8,5,7 middle three sets with 5kg plate // supersetted with
Lat Pulldowns: 10,10,10,10,12
Curls various hitting from all angles.

Good pb badly well done. Still a sceptic tho especially with u curling to hit the biceps at different angles lol. Good training mate

220kg 5 plates is the goal, maybe with a suit next time I am at the unit.

The training seems to be making me stronger (and more irresistible) so no need to change it at the moment.

Met up with a small crew at Mayfield gym

Fronties: 10xbar, 5x50kg, 3x60kg, 3x80kg, 2x90kg, 1x100kg // Warmup
Bench: 10xbar, 5x40kg, 3x70kg, 2x85kg, Fx102.5kg Fx100kg // f**k ass, still sticking 1 inch off chest.
DL: 5xbar, 5x60kg, 3x100kg, 1x150kg, 1x180kg, 1x200kg // 200kg was nice, had a ex PL watching who gave me 3 light lights for comp.
Pullups: 5,7,4

Ex powerlifter guy was pretty excited when he saw us deadlifting and might make Sunday a regular thing. Gym also has sauna which will be used next week for sure.

Monday

Squats: 10xbar, 5x50kg, 3x60kg, 5x5 85kg // Think my form has found the new groove. Coach watched my last set and said depth was spot on maybe a touch high but hard to tell with my clown pants on. 3 rep was perfect though. New styles is feet wide, bar high and thumbs in.
Seated DB press: 10,6,10,8 // sugar levels crashed, no energy sat vacantly looking at the mirror for a few minutes
DB Rows: 15,15,12 // will do these more

45 minute session, back feels like its going to be sore tomorrow.

Wednesday at BB club

Back still tender from weekend, but its deadlift day so plan was to do some high rep stuff. Get the blood pumping.

Deadlift: 5xbar, 5x60kg, 5x100kg, 5x140kg, 5x160kg // no fun at all after 3 I was thinking maybe I should just do a triple. Then the coached shout something across the gym so I kept on going
Dips: 8,8,8,8,8 // supersetted with
Lat Pulldowns: 15,12,15,15,15
Curls: 8,8,8,8,8
Cable Flys: 8,8,8,8

Friday quickie at BB club

Squats: 8xbar, 5x50kg, 5x70kg, 5x5 90kg // all according to plan. Coach was most excited about the wraps, showed me how to put them on, felt like a kid being shown how to shave. 3rd set coach worked with me, we tried moving bar back down to low bar position instantly I started loosing it forward, so sticking with high bar for now. Feel more underneath the bar with high bar. Then after a rep he made me stand with the bar and analysed my foot placement. My left leg was about 5cm in front of my right leg, so we drew a chalk line on the floor and took my stance out wider. Last two sets used the wraps, more for practice putting them on getting used to them. They feel nice! My knees really go out wide feels nice and tight in the hole, maybe will help improve my form?
Incline DB press: 10,8,6,8,8
DB rows: 15,12,12
