Starting a new log to keep up with my training, im fairly new to lifting and very interested in strength training...

About me - 19 years old
5 foot 11
82kg BW


FRI 09-08-2013

Bench Press
40kg 5x4
60kg 1x1
70kg 1xf.

Dumbell press
15kg 5x1
27kg 1x1
30kg 1x1
32.5kg 1xf tried 3 times but shoulder was sore as ****

Deadlift
120kg 1x1
150kg 1xf back wasn't feeling good after good session on Wednesday night!

Overhead press
40kg 1x1
60kg 1x1
65kg 1xf nearly had this but right arm couldn't push cause of dumbell press really hurt my shoulder

Was light session tonight after a good session on Wednesday night Happy

Burst my hand on the deadlift made it really hard to grip any ideas how to stop/prevent this??

Grow calluses Happy The act of deadlifting will make your hands harder quickly Andrew , dont worry about it.

Failed reps are no bad thing when you're starting out and trying to find your starting maxes. You've found them now, no more F's for a while. Happy
