Beltless speed squats

140 * 3, 3,

Late session tonight as i had physio beforehand. Not ideal, but the best available option this week.
Feeling pretty run down, but hoping some serious eating and a couple of less intense training sessions will get the energy levels back up.

60 * 1, 1.

Dead stop CGBP

Felt much more human today. Not sure if its the deload starting to kick, or just a result of me feeling manly after a couple of hours working on the wife's car.
Great speed and explosion on the DB, starting to get a little controlled aggression in there as well which makes the cleans a lot easier.

A jolly good session today. Had a full house at the gym and really helped to blow off the cobwebs.
Yoke was fine, never close to a drop on any of the sets, and good foot speed.
Frame was also fast, though the final set was pretty much at the limit of my grip.
Tyre flip was just to get the lungs going, still one of my favourite exercises for conditioning work.
Final DB session tomorrow, then speed deads and front squats later in the week, and maybe some light chest as well.

Cheers john, though it doesnt really seem that way lately. Gym strength is on the up, but it just doesnt seem to show when it comes to competition. I need to find a new way of doing things to ensure i perform when it counts.
