Member 340, 13300 posts SQ 315, BP 190, DL 350855.0 kgs @ 115kgs UnEq | Cheers to JT and Sam for putting the comp' on (even though he is sick bas***d with those medleys!), thanks to all those who helped run it, and well done to all the competitors for giving it their all in the heat. I underperformed, first time since my very first comp' I've felt that way. Log and 1st stone would have been PBs if I'd have got them - but I didn't! Never really got to grips with the medleys - not strong enough and not conditioned enough. Deadlift was okay, 10kg below PB though and not good enough in this quality of line-up. I WILL do better next time! Massive well done to the indestructible Tony, what a gutsy performance. And to Millsy for finally getting it all together for a well deserved 2nd, awesome performances from two top lads. What will the Fins make of our Tony? Really hope you are fit and firing on cylinders out there T - you will do us all proud and truly deserve the opportunity. | ||

 knock knock !! who's there ?? OLD SCHOOL SUGDEN Member 212, 11439 posts SQ 325, BP 212.5, DL 370907.5 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for a great comp .. JT`s place is awesome for a strongman comp - hope you run more there .. And i was very happy with my 1st 3 events - Log for 8 was a P.B and deadlift felt o.k but just not at 100% then i never thought i`d of pulled the sled in heavy gravel and desert conditions but i did so was buzzing .. ....But then having to do the 2nd medley so soon after the first just fooooking killed me to death ... I`ve never ever felt so ill puking shaking and got blurred vision BUT the cramp i was getting was close on making me cry like a girl ...and it took me a good hour and half to come around .. BIG BIG thanks to my medical team of my lovely girlfriend Lisa, Ste , Joni , Kev , JC "The Dioralite Provider" and Englands strongest man Big Tony for being quite willing to pour 3 litres of freezing cold water on my head ... .. I feel alot better today and look forward to the next couple of comps because theres fooook all cardio involved .. Big Big Well Done to Our very own Tony Warbrook - You deserve it mate spending winter training in your garden with hailstone and snow ...Legend..
